Mini Metal “Arbour Style” Plant Stand – listed $14.99
This thrifted piece got a makeover using two coats of Chiffon Cream Chalkpaint & then lightly brushing on Dark Wax by DIY Paint Co for an aged weathered look. I sprayed the entire piece twice using Rustoleum Matte Sealer.
This was a fun, quick & easy upcycle project & now this piece is ready for a new home!

Repurposed Candlestick Holder Birds Nest – Kept for my home
I was given a table centerpiece to upcycle for parts so I took the two birds’ nests off for this project. Removed & repainted the eggs, added some Spanish & reindeer moss for fullness & then added 2 tiny leaves for a pop of color.
The candlestick holder was just a plain clear glass one, that I sprayed with black matte spray paint (for a different project that I changed my mind on), then handpainted with white paint & it was just too bright for the look I wanted. So I applied Chiffon Cream chalk paint to coordinate with the other pieces, then “wet distressed” the edges for an aged look.
Using both hot glue & some E-6000 glue it was easy to adhere the bird’s nest to the top of the candlestick holder.

Distressed Wooden Planters Box for Spring! – listed $14.99
Super fun piece to give a makeover to & very easy. I lightly sanded the piece to smooth out any rough spots, then applied DIY Paint in the color “Apothecary” using quick, dry brush strokes then went on with the same method adding some Chiffon Cream Chalk paint. This combo offers all the feels of Spring! So of course I added the word, SPRING” using the typesetting stamps from IOD!

Weathered Frames w Vintage Inspired Bird Photos–
I was given a generous amount of photo frames to upcycle & I have enjoyed giving them new makeovers. This set was two of my favorite ones once completed!
They both received two coats of Chiffon Cream Chalkpaint & some light brush strokes of DIY Dark Wax for a nice aged & weathered look! The glass inserts got a good cleaning with Rubbing Alcohol which is my “go-to” glass & mirror cleaner!
Heading over to TheGraphicsFairy.com it was super easy to find these beautiful vintage bird photos that I printed out on cardstock in the sizes of the frames.
